The development of the Tanjung Carat Port has become an urgent need considering that the Boom Baru Port, located in the center of Palembang City, experiences various limitations that impact the high logistics costs in South Sumatra.
On Thursday (April 9), PT Samudra Pasai Indonesia, an affiliated company of Bomba Grup, attended the Project Launching and the signing of the Joint Commitment at Griya Agung Palembang. This event was also attended by Mr. Dudy Purwagandhi (Minister of Transportation), Mr. Nusron Wahid (Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency), Dr. Moh. Qodari (Chief of Presidential Staff of the Republic of Indonesia), Mr. Todotua Pasaribu (Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM), Mr. Herman Deru (Governor of South Sumatra), as well as the Chairman of PT. Samudera Pasai Indonesia, Mr. Alvin R Setiawan, who is also the Group CEO of Bomba Grup.
With synergy alongside all consortium partners and the South Sumatra government, it is expected to provide optimal benefits for the economy of South Sumatra.
